The Art- Strings Ensemble was founded in 1997. Since then, they actively perform at prestigious venues in the U.S. and overseas including Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall in NYC, Albert Hall in London and Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, to name just a few.

We are not a large agency - Art-Strings Ensembles is a group of select professionals who have been playing together for more than 18 years.
Our musicians have provided music entertainment for corporate functions such as United Nations Headquarters, MOMA and Metropolitan Museum in NYC, Merrill Lynch & Co., Citibank, Mercedes-Benz and many others.
Also, we have performed at hundreds of private events. Estee Lauder, Richard Gere, Tamar Brexton and Sarah Jessica Parker are among many of our VIP clients who have enjoyed our music performances.

Alex Abaev, violinist and the leader of Art-Strings Ensembles is a native of Ukraine and a cum laude graduate of the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music in Kiev.

He is a winner of the Radio Record International Competition Concertino Prague, the Vox Populi Special Prize at the First International Music Festival of Regina and Vladimir Horowitz, the Seventh Pierre Lantier International Competition in Paris, France, and the Eleventh International Chamber Music Competition in Caltanissetta, Italy.

Mr. Abayev has appeared in solo and chamber music performances at Weil Recital Hall, Merkin Hall in New York, Boston's Seully Hall, and the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts in Arizona, among other venues. He participates in numerous music festivals, including Hunter Festival, the Arcadia Festival in Maine and the Orlando Festival in The Netherlands.

Mr. Abayev is Concertmaster with the Westchester Chamber Symphony (website) and Bachanalia Orchestra (website). He is also Professor of Violin at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY (website) since 2002.
